During my family’s latest vacation to Florida, we continued one of my favorite traditions by returning to Walt Disney World’s Magic Kingdom. It’s one of my favorite places to visit because it encapsulates the magic and wonder of Disney so well. I love walking down Main Street USA, seeing the Cinderella Castle, experiencing the nightly fireworks display, riding Space Mountain and so much more. This year my family did something new that has been on my bucket list–we dined in Cinderella’s Castle at Cinderella’s Royal Table.

It was a stunning setting for breakfast. We ascended the castle’s spiral staircase to the banquet hall and dined in a storybook setting surrounded by soaring stone archways, majestic medieval flags and spectacular stained-glass windows overlooking Disney’s Fantasyland. We even got to experience special appearances made by some of Disney’s princesses.

It was a childhood dream come true. Our parents surprised us kids with this one-of-a-kind experience days before our trip, which I was impressed with. Reservations for dining in the castle are rather difficult to achieve because the Royal Table books out months in advance, especially for a large family group of six. My dad was able to get us in. We ended up changing our day in Disney on our trip because of the weather, yet we were able to also change our reservation.

Disney pro tip: If there’s a place you would love to dine at in one of the Disney parks, always check reservations online the night before. We were able to move our reservation for the following day for breakfast in the castle because there was a last minute opening. Disney always gets cancellations, so be consistently checking if there is something you really want to experience as your date nears. Same goes for exclusive tours in the parks.

For breakfast I enjoyed the Caramel Apple Stuffed French Toast. It was a Decadent French Toast stuffed with sweet Cream Cheese, baked with Caramel Apples, and drizzled with a Calvados Caramel Sauce. Heavy, but delicious. Definitely a meal fit for a king or queen, prince or princess.

If you are heading to Disney World and have the opportunity to dine in the Castle, I’d definitely 10/10 recommend it. It’s so enchanting and the perfect Disney experience. There’s nothing like it.
