This Minnesota girl spent her NYC fall break back home and it was a weekend well needed. I missed the serenity of the lake and the quiet of the country life. It was so fun to see my family, love on my pets and enjoy the fresh MN air.
We went fishing in 40 degree weather and it was the best thing ever. I caught a bass under a beautiful sunset and got to soak up time with my adorable sister and Dad.
My Dad took us to the last MN United FC soccer game of the season at the TCF Bank Stadium and it was also fun. The whole family went and it was a good game. They tied 1-1.
I got to be home for some of my favorite family fall traditions — the Pine Tree Apple Orchard and carving pumpkins. Nothing beats a caramel apple with my siblings and seeing the different colored leaves that paint the Minnesota towns. I miss it already.

My family also hosted a worship night at our lake home and my sister played in the band. I was so beyond happy to be home and see her play in her first live performance. She has been working so hard on her guitar lessons and it was so sweet to she her shine and do it all in worship.
It was a fun weekend that went by waay to quick. It’s always hard saying goodbye to these guys but I’m so blessed to have such a fun destination to return to. There is nothing like NYC and I’m halfway through my program. I’m excited to make the most of the rest of this semester and opportunity and I’ll be home before I know it :)
