Where to find bubble tea in Dinky Town

Being a city girl at heart, I have always loved downtown adventures. My favorites always include the ones involving bubble tea. It’s delicious, sweet and something fun to do with friends. Luckily, the University of Northwestern – St. Paul is only miles away from the best shops.  Here are my top two that I featured in my latest What’s Trending VLOG:

  1. Chatime Tea

Located in the heart of U of M’s college town is Chatime Tea. It’s only 15 minutes away from UNW and is perfect for hanging out with friends, studying, or just simply a quick bubble tea run. They have many different flavors of drinks to choose from and their shop is super colorful and cute. It’s located across from one of Dinky Town’s iconic concert venues, and it definitely has the college-town vibe.

  2. Sencha Tea Bar

Also located in Dinky Town and less than a mile from Chatime is Sencha. They have multiple locations in the Twin Cities, but their Dinky Town location is one of my favorites. It’s super hip and modern, and is favorable for studying or getting work done. It’s a bit quieter than Chatime, bigger and has more open seating.

Both places serve a great deal of options when it comes to bubble tea. The drink originated in Taiwan and combines freshly brewed teas with a large variety of exotic natural fruit concentrates. It’s served cold with chewy pearls at the bottom. If you’ve never had it before, I’d definitely recommend it! Leave a comment below with your favorite bubble tea drink or shop!
