Exploring Cocoa Beach, FL

Man do I miss Florida… It’s only been a little over two weeks since I was at Cocoa Beach exploring the Atlantic side of the ocean for the first time.. Now I’m back in Minnesota and let’s just say the weather hasn’t been nearly as nice to me as it was down South. I miss the ocean air, palm trees, sunshine, warm weather, sun tan lines and summer clothing so much.

I would do almost anything to be back at the beach… to watch the people surf and hear the sound of the waves.  The Atlantic Ocean was breathtaking, adventurous, and so fun to explore something new.

It’s crazy to me how different each coast of Florida is just because of how different the two oceans are. The Gulf is calm with blue green waters, white sand and calm waves whereas the Atlantic has deep blue waters with huge waves that crash against the dark sand of the hard shoreline.

Both coasts of Florida are so beautiful. They’re so different from each other, each one provides such a completely different experience, which I love. It was fun to stay in the Orlando/Kissimme area of Florida and to be right in the middle of the state because we were able to drive and see both coasts.

The best part of traveling is learning and exploring something new about your favorite vacation destination.

Happiness is not a state to arrive at, but a manner of traveling.

Traveling leaves you speechless, then turns you into a storyteller.
