On June 19th, a Friday night, I got a text from my mom that said to call her as soon as I was off of work. Initially, after reading that, I started thinking of different scenarios that could have happened or came up, so, full of curiosity and excitement, I called my mom to see what was going on. As soon as she answered the phone she asked me to “guess what” and proceeded to tell me that she had a surprise for me.
There was no way I was going to wait until I got home to hear the surprise and she had no intention of making me wait because she was just as excited. The news spilled over the phone lines as she told me she had got us tickets to see Luke Bryan in concert, which was happening the next day. Of course, being the fangirl that I am, I literally thought I was going to cry (happy tears ofcourse). Am I crazy? Maybe. But I was seriously so excited because I had been talking about seeing my favorite country artist in concert for months; however, I wasn’t able to get tickets. A few days leading up to the concert I was a bit bummed because I tried getting tickets but figured it wasn’t going to work out. It was something I was really hoping to go to and experience. Was it the end of the world that I was originally not able to go? Absolutely not. But was it something I would’ve gone to in a heartbeat if I got the chance? OF COURSE.
I still can’t believe we saw Luke Bryan in concert; My mom gave me the best surprise after a long day at work and the whole weekend I was full of pure excitement. Because after all, I got the chance to see LUKE BRYAN aka the cutest country guy around.
We were so excited to see one of the opening acts, Florida Georgia Line, perform. They are so full of energy and put on such a fun show. It was my first time seeing them perform in person and I can’t wait to see them again. They sang a few of my favorite songs ~ Dirt, Anything Goes, Cruise, Sippin On Fire, Every Night… haha ok I like pretty much all of their songs and could list all the ones they performed because I loved them all.
Florida Georgia Line was rad and crazy. I loved it.

Soon after FGL finished performing, the sun went down and Luke Bryan took the stage. There’s nothing better than attending concerts at open roofed stadiums. It was such a nice, warm summer day the day of the concert and TCF Bank Stadium was the perfect setting for the Kick The Dust Up Tour.
Luke Bryan is honestly the cutest thing ever, just watch this and you’ll see why..
Obviously as you can tell I was just a bit excited
Luke brought country stars Thomas Rhett, Dustin Lynch, and Randy Houser on stage to sing a few cover songs with him. It was so cute, video below :)
Luke also brought Florida Georgia Line back out to perform with him.
My all time favorite Luke Bryan song and song that he performed that night.
And to top off an awesome night of country music, there was an epic firework display. Concerts, music, fireworks, and Luke Bryan – definitely makes for my kind of night :)
It was such a fun night full of country music. I am so happy my mom took my sister and I to our first country concert, it was the best time. TCF Bank Stadium was an awesome venue to experience a concert at and I loved seeing a sold out Luke Bryan show along with thousands of other country music fans.
Huge thank you to my mom for taking us (she’s the best) and to Luke Bryan for such a fun, entertaining night. It was incredible and this country girl can not wait until next time.
